We are pleased that you consider becoming a mentor for WaterTank, the Stockholm Junior Water Prize alumni network

Our alumni consist of finalists of the Stockholm Junior Water Prize over the past twenty years. These bright minds range in age from 15 to 30 and have a great interest in creating a water wise world. We are very proud of our Stockholm Junior Water Prize alumni and are keen to help those who wish to bring their projects into practice! Your expertise will be invaluable in this process.

Becoming a mentor is easy! We simply need your contact information, picture, and a brief statement on your areas of interest “expertise”. Please follow the sign up instructions in the link:

Areas of interest can be as wide or narrow as you like, worldwide or limited to a specific geographic area

Here are a few examples:

“ I’m interested in patent law in Latin America”

“ I wish to help young women in India to develop their projects”

“I wish to mentor a young student…..”

What is required to help build the next generation of innovators

Mentors and mentees would benefit from having monthly video or phone meetings to ensure the project is progressing. Six months is the a suggested time requirement for a mentor-mentee relationship. While monthly meetings are a suggested requirement, we also believe that ad hoc meetings can be beneficial if you struggle to find the time required. Please let us know how much time you are able to dedicate to mentorship.
