Global founding partner

Words from our Global Founding partner Xylem: For the past few years, I’ve had the privilege of volunteering for the Stockholm Junior Water Prize in various roles. The research, studies, and overall projects produced by the students are detailed, creative, and just impressive. The projects at the SJWP are a great opportunity to learn about new topics and challenges in water and wastewater, and toconverse with the student researchers about possible solutions. I’m particularly inspired with how socially aware and forward thinking the students are – many of them actively are trying to apply their results and findings to improve their local communities . Most of all, I’ve enjoyed meeting and spending time with the organizers, fellow volunteers, and the students themselves. Not only do they share an appreciation and passion for water-related issues – but everyone has some truly unique and entertaining personalities.

Strategic partner and other partnerships

Designed for those wishing to help celebrate the achievements of the Stockholm Junior Water Prize winners. Help our young water talents by helping us fund the activities, it can be as specific or broad as you wish and you are capable of. We have partners helping us with hotelrooms, i-posters for the scientific work, dinners and tickets for the trainride from the airport. Please get in touch with us so we can better discuss what is interesting for you to assist with.

Xylem is a world leader in water technology, providing equipment and services for water and wastewater applications with a broad portfolio of products and services that address the full cycle of water — from collection, distribution and use to its return to the environment.

Through the signature citizenship program, Xylem Watermark, they bring clean water, sanitation and hygiene education to schools and communities in emerging markets, and respond with water solutions when disaster strikes around the globe.

The Raincoat Foundation

The Raincoat Foundation was founded in 2015 by Mikaela and Peter Granstrom. Their policy is simple – support initiatives that will create awareness and knowledge where it is low, and solution-oriented water projects where action will make a real difference.

Clean water is a non-issue to most swedes as it flows on demand from every tap around our cities, villages and homes. To some 65o million people on this earth it just doesn’t happen that way. Until proven wrong, they believe that this can be changed and that there can be access to clean and safe water, for everyone.

Arlanda Express

Arlanda Express are helping our finalists by providing traintickets to the Arlanda Express train.
